Shannon Sharpe Mistakenly Shares Sex Streaming Session Live On Intagram

After footage of an apparent sexual behavior was live-streamed to the iconic broadcaster's Instagram account on Wednesday, Sharpe said he only recognized what had happened when he subsequently picked up the phone with his marketing representative, who informed that he had streamed the personal act live to his millions of fans

The video, which was widely shared online before being taken down from Sharpe's account, appears to have been captured unintentionally on someone's phone. Nothing is shown, but a woman is heard moaning and a guy can be heard making various statements during the roughly five-minute tape, though it's impossible to identify if it's Sharpe.

"My heart sank," Sharpe explained. "I called my agent, the agency, and ESPN, and I thought I'd just tell them the truth." My phone was not hacked, nor was it a joke; it was simply me being a healthy, active male."

Although, the clip was deleted shortly after being posted, Sharpe stated that he was "very disappointed" in himself and had "let a lot of people down." He went on to say, "Obviously, I'm embarrassed. I'm someone who is really, extremely private, and having one of your most intimate details audio recorded for the entire world to hear, I'm embarrassed."

Sharpe was ridiculed on social media for the event, and he retweeted a lot of tweets mocking the mishap. This includes a post by former ESPN host Michelle Beadle, who said, "It was not me."
Sharpe signed a multiyear deal with ESPN in June. Sharpe's involvement on First Take, ESPN's morning discussion show hosted by Molly Qerim and featuring Stephen A. Smith, was enhanced as part of the agreement. Sharpe joined the show in August 2023.
